Upright
A cloaked figure mourns three spilled cups, not yet noticing the two still standing behind. The Five of Cups is loss and regret, and the slow turn toward what remains.
Reversed
Reversed, you’re beginning to turn around, to forgive, and to pick up what’s still standing.
If you pulled it today
Something has been lost, and it’s right to grieve it. When you’re ready, and not before, turn around. There’s still something standing behind you.
